How Can severe Itchy Hives On The Abdomen Be Treated?

Recent abdomen hernia repair has left my abdomen with hives and very itchy. The itch has traveled to my penis and scrotum and it is now inflamed and swollen. My doctor suggested Benadryl. My robotic wound openings on my abdomen are itchy and red. My abdomen is still very itchy. What s going on?

I think there's an allergy to the suture material that has been used. You need to take Steroid and Antihistaminic prescription for it.
Okay! go to your surgeon and tell him your complaint and the discuss with him the solution that I have written.
